Federico graduated from the Universidad de la Republica in 1997.

Federico heads the Real Estate Department and co-heads the Energy & Infrastructure team. His practice includes structuring urban and rural real estate investments and REITs, assisting developers in the purchase, sale and lease of real estate properties for residential, tourism, industrial and/or commercial purposes and agribusiness.

Federico further has a vast experience in the oil and gas sector, renewable energies and infrastructure projects and developments.

He is Magister on Administrative and Economics at the Universidad de Montevideo and has postgraduate course at School of Law, Universidad de la Republica, on Buildings Regimes and Lease of Real Estate.

As a professor, Federico dictates courses at the Universidad de Montevideo in Real Estate Practice as well as on Rural Real Estate Contracting at the Notarial Postgraduate Program of the Universidad de Montevideo. Besides, he dictates graduate courses on Energy & Projects at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.

Professional experience abroad
He attended Companies’ Acquisitions course (Multilaw) in Quebec, Canada, August 2002. He is graduated from the “Academy of American and International Law”, organized by The Center for American and International Law, Dallas, Texas, 2003. He attended Oil & Gas Agreements Graduate course (University of Buenos Aires, 2006) and in Off Shore Oil Exploration course at ORT University and Thompson & Knight (2009). Federico has participated and been a speaker in many international events and conferences in relation with real estate and infrastructure investments. He has accompanied the Uruguayan Government, Uruguay XXI and “Destino Punta del Este” (a public-private association for the promotion of Punta del Este and the resort area of the country) in several delegations to countries such as the United States, Spain, France, Argentina and Brazil.
