Santiago Gatica, lawyer, works mainly in the Litigation Department.
He is aspiring professor of Business Organizations and Commercial Papers in the School of Law of the University of Montevideo. He was a member of the team of the University of Montevideo that participated in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (2009 – top 100 oralist) and of the teams that obtained the first place in the II International Arbitration Competition in Buenos Aires (2010), second place in the III International Arbitration Competition in Bogota (2011) and second place in the XIX Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot in Vienna (2011). He was recognized by the Conciliation and Arbitration Centre of the Stock Exchange of Uruguay for his contribution to the development of arbitration in Uruguay (2011).
