Eduardo J. Ameglio, lawyer, Manager of Labor Affairs and social security. He has experience in employment advice and social security, collective bargaining, alternative forms of labour conflict resolution and labour litigation. He is professor of “Labour Law” and safety Social in the Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de la República with the grade 4 of Professor added, from 1994 until the date in uninterrupted form.
He is a member of the Executive Council of the Chamber of Commerce and services, currently playing the position of trustee.
He is a consultant of the Bank Association of Uruguay in the negotiation of collective agreements in the banking sector.
He is Advisor of the National Chamber of Commerce and services, the draft laws on labor and social security.
Associate Professor as a grade 4, has issued numerous legal opinions to present in labor lawsuits.
Consultant of the International of Labour Organization (OIT) in the Uruguay and abroad on several occasions.
As researcher is author of several publications of his specialty, both in Uruguay as in the foreign, among them "the companies supplying of labor temporary". It is an external consultant of the International Labour Organization (OIT) on various projects of cooperation, including with the Ministry of labour of Chile in the elaboration of a draft law on labor outsourcing (1998-1999). He joined a group of experts hired by the ILO for the drafting of the Handbook for the implementation of the recommendation No. 196 on the determination of the relationship and work (Turin, 2007). Former President of the Association Uruguayan of Labour Law and the safety Social and member of the Committee of drafting of the magazine Labour Law, official publication of the Institute Ibero-American of Derecho of the work and Social Security.
